Why are my nike forged clubs hard to hit?
I got these for christmas last year and I really suck at golfing. But then one day I went out with my Manager and she lone me her callaway widesole clubs. I shot my best score ever (99 at a par 72). She said Nike forged are like butter knives. So what new set would you recommend for a begginer and should I sell my nike clubs? Or did I just get lucky that day and forged are easy to use?
I’m assuming you’re talking about the Nike Forged Blades, and if those are the clubs you have they definitely aren’t the right ones for you. Blades should really only be used by golfers with single-digit handicaps, or that are really consistent ball-strikers. If your best score ever is a 99, blades definitely aren’t for you. I’d say sell your blades and get some game-improvement irons like the Wide Soles or something similar, such as the Cleveland HiBore irons, the Mizuno MX-900, Ping Rapture, etc.
