what do you guys think of groove sharpeners?

on ebay looking around at groove sharpeners, what do you think a good idea to rejuvinate my wedges or not?
btw, i have a cg14, a vokey and a cleveland ta588 so they are top quality wedges, so i dont want to buy new ones when my grooves die

Their cheaper than buying new wedges. Depending on if you play in tournaments or not, they can render your wedges illegal for tournament play. If you’re just playing recreationally, this obviously isn’t an issue. If you look on ebay, you can possibly find a new wedge that costs less than a new wedge in a golf store.
